I am too numb to even start writing about this book. When I picked up The Last Mrs. Parrish, I, as an avid thriller reader, was expecting the usual plot twists and thrills all the way, but what came out of this book changed the game for me. Surpassing all expectations, the book gave me the most magical experience of my life in less than 400 enthralling pages. After I put down the book, I realized I need a significant amount of time to process everything my mind and heart went through before jumping into another book. The plot, as mentioned in the blurb, revolves around Amber Patterson, a 26-year-old woman, who is tired of being average, earning enough to barely meet the ends. Amber envies Daphne Parrish, who seems to have it all, from a luxurious seaside mansion to butlers and maids at her service round the clock; from expensive dresses and jewelry to a multi-millionaire husband, Jackson.
